Husband and wife team, Daren and Irene Dixey, are passionate about upcycling. You will often find them exploring junkyards, auctions, and demolition sites in search of interesting and quirky items, always seeing the potential to create something unique. They take the old and give it new life. What started as a weekend art outlet and passion has grown into a small business they are proud of.

Beyond creating quirky functional art—such as lights, Bluetooth speakers, wine or whiskey holders, and cabinets—Daren Dixey has also been involved in designing for restaurants, homes, shop fronts, and boutique hotels, giving them a distinctive industrial, upcycled feel.

The name “Green Punk Designs” is a fusion of “Green,” symbolizing upcycling, and “Punk,” reflecting Daren’s love for steampunk art. His work began with a steampunk style and has since evolved into a more eclectic industrial aesthetic. Daren’s background in electrical work has been invaluable in many of his projects.
